Archer makes an antenna that goes in the wing tip for VOR navigation and for ILS approaches. It lays in the bottom of the wing tip, part of it has to overlap the end of the wing skin. The over lap is installed under 4 of the plate nuts that hold the tip to the wing, so a good ground. The coax needs to be run away from the strobe wires down the wing. I installed some nylon tubing in the wing J channel and pro sealed it in place for the RG400 coax. The other conduit for the strobe and nav lights is in the center of the wing.
